Adam’s musical life began in the school choir and continued in The Pennine and Colne Valley Beagles (hunting songs). Adam still maintains local connections and is a regular at the annual ‘Fountain Inn’ carol sing.
Three years at Oxford followed school and then two years at Tube Investments as a buyer.
Always destined for David Brown’s he worked his way up for 10 years before becoming Deputy Chairman (David Brown Gear Industries). He still managed to hunt with Rockwood and Bramham.
In 1990 grandfather sold the business and Adam married Diana – they have two daughters (Elizabeth and Alexandra).
Adam spends his time working for the choir and reading history. He regards singing as therapy and an integral part of his social life.
